We made our own baking soda volcano:
This pleased everyone.
Then, we painted our own volcanoes.
Cooper included lava bombs (They're real. Look it up.). Notice his weasel, which is running away from the volcano to the orange tree, is being smashed by a lava bomb. Amazingly, he survived.
Caleb was not a part of the volcanic activities but did decorate his own cupcake.

Your doing an excellent job with schooling. I'm amazed that you are so creative and have so much energy with 3 little ones! They are lucky to have you as a teacher!
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure if it's energy and creativity or necessity :) My boys like hands-on, so the more mundane tasks seem to go better if I mix them with fun projects.
